🎨 Are you an artist in or around Knox County? ⁠ Farragut’s Chalk the Plaza is coming to McGill Plaza on May 16 and we’re still accepting chalk art competitors to join in on the fun!⁠ ⁠ This fun-filled event includes a chalk art competition, an art market, a kids’ zone, and local food trucks. The art market and food trucks will be open from 11am-4pm. Sidewalk art will be on display until the next rain washes it away!⁠ ⁠ Interested in joining the fun? Chalk the Plaza is back and better than ever, and we have exciting new additions this year!⁠ ⁠ Our chalk art competition for amateur artists will return, along with a brand new category. In honor of the America 250 celebrations, artists can enter the special theme “America the Beautiful.” Artwork in this category should highlight the natural beauty of the United States. Artists may still compete in the classic open competition as well.⁠ ⁠ We are also expanding the Art Market to welcome even more talented artists and vendors.
