Once you’re fueled up, head to Mayor Bob Leonard Park and check out Farragut’s newest pickleball courts. For seasoned players or those simply curious about the sport. It’s a fun way to spend a summer morning outdoors.
Tip: Make a reservation or take a chance on one of their three available first-come, first-served courts. Open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

For lunch, you have a couple of great choices. Fruition Café is one of those places locals love to recommend. Known for fresh smoothies, paninis, soups, and salads, it’s a hidden gem that’s easy on the wallet. Feeling adventurous? Try Curry & Queso, one of Farragut’s newest restaurants. A mix of Indian spices and Mexican flavors that come together in creative and delicious ways.
Spend your afternoon browsing local boutiques and specialty shops. Visit The Consignment Shoppe at Campbell Station for affordable fashion and home décor. Then go next door and enjoy tea and a sweet treat at Apple Cake Tea Room. Alternatively, explore the new Biddle Farms development and stop by Bradley’s Gift & Home for charming gifts, home décor, and handcrafted chocolates.

Traveling with kids? Brickhouse Collectibles is always a hit. From LEGO sets and minifigures to comics and collectibles, it’s the kind of place where children and adults can easily lose track of time.

Saturday: Celebrate the Fourth of July
Kick off Independence Day at Farragut’s annual Independence Day Parade. Beginning at 9:30 a.m., this beloved community tradition features colorful floats, marching bands, dancers, antique vehicles, and plenty of patriotic spirit along Kingston Pike.
After the parade, grab lunch at nearby local favorites such as 35 North Bar & Grill, Admiral Pub, or CM Chicken Knoxville.



As the afternoon heat settles in, cool off indoors. The Farragut Museum offers a fun and interactive way to learn about the town’s history. Kids can even participate in a scavenger hunt-style activity and earn a prize along the way.
Families with younger children will love spending time at Poppets Play Place. This indoor play space is designed for children ages 7 and under. The colorful, imaginative play area gives little ones a safe place to climb, explore, create, and burn off energy while parents relax nearby.
Older kids (10+) and adults may enjoy a creative experience at Painting with a Twist, where guests can create their own masterpiece during a guided painting session.

When it’s time for dinner, choose from local favorites like Buddy’s Bar-B-Q. This Tennessee tradition since 1972 serves hickory-smoked meats, hushpuppies, and Southern hospitality. Sunday: Relax After the 4th of July, Shop & Enjoy the Outdoors

Grab breakfast at the market or nearby favorites like Flying Biscuit Café, Cracker Barrel, or 7 Brew Coffee before heading out for one last day of adventure.

Founders Park is one of Farragut’s most peaceful places to spend an afternoon. Take a stroll along the walking trails, read about local history, or let the kids splash in the creek. Need a little more water fun before heading home? McFee Park features the area’s largest public splash pad. Stay awhile and check out the playgrounds, sports fields, and enjoy plenty of room to spread out this summer.
If the weather isn’t cooperating, Farragut Golf & Games offers miniature golf, batting cages, arcade games, and pizza all in one place.



Before wrapping up your weekend, treat yourself to one final meal. Enjoy a relaxed evening at Sparrow Wine Bar, known for its cozy atmosphere and inviting patio. For a casual family-friendly option grab a chicken sandwich and frozen custard at Super Chix.
