Bring the kids to Art Fest at the Farragut Community Center on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 9–11 a.m. This free, all-ages event features a variety of art stations and crafts.

Movies, Cars & Fun Under the Stars
Grab a blanket and settle in for an outdoor movie under the stars at the Farragut Museum on Friday, Sept. 18, at 7:30 p.m. The evening features a free showing of Herbie: Fully Loaded, plus a food truck, yard games and a car display from the Knox Dubz VW Club. Bring your blanket or lawn chair!
Fun Fact: Herbie Fully Loaded was co-written by 1988 Farragut High School graduate Robert Ben Garant.
Sleep Under the Stars
Want to make a fall memory the whole family will talk about? Spend the night under the stars at McFee Park during Farragut Parks & Recreation’s Family Campout. The campout includes family games, crafts, a campfire, dinner and breakfast. Check-in begins at 4 p.m. Friday, September 18, with checkout by 10 a.m. Saturday. The cost is $30 per family of up to four people, plus $10 for each additional family member.
Good to know: Families provide their own tent and sleeping bags, so pack for a cozy night outdoors.
Explore the Farragut Fall Trail All October
The Farragut Fall Trail runs Oct. 1–31 and turns fall exploring into a passport-style adventure. Follow the interactive trail, visit participating local businesses and complete challenges along the way. Each participating location will feature a special window cling with a challenge code. Reach the halfway point to earn a prize, complete the full trail for an exclusive prize and you’ll also be entered into an end-of-month raffle for a grand prize.
Insider tip: Don’t try to rush the trail. Build an afternoon around it- grab a seasonal treat, browse local boutiques, stop for lunch and enjoy the experience.
Get Spooky at Farragut After Dark
On Oct. 10, head to the Campbell Station Inn from 6–9 p.m. for Farragut After Dark. Bring your hoodie, lawn chair and blanket for a fall evening featuring a free outdoor showing of Hotel Transylvania. There will also be pumpkin painting, fall crafts, luminary-making stations and more.

Celebrate the Harvest
Fall in Farragut wouldn’t be complete without a little harvest-season fun. Harvest Jam takes place Oct. 23 at Pinnacle at Turkey Creek, bringing together live entertainment, local vendors, seasonal activities and plenty of opportunities to shop.
Then on Oct. 25, visit Village Green Shopping Center from noon–4 p.m. for Harvest Fest, hosted by the Farragut Business Alliance. It’s a great chance to enjoy all things fall while supporting local businesses.
Treat Yourself to Freaky Friday Fright Nite
On Friday, Oct. 30, Mayor Bob Leonard Park gets a little spooky during Freaky Friday Fright Nite, from 5–7 p.m. Kids 12 and under can put on their costumes and follow the treat trail, where local businesses will be handing out candy. Donations will also benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Knoxville.
Insider tip: Arrive in costume and bring a bag for treats because the only thing scarier than Halloween is running out of room for candy!
Play in Farragut This Fall
Paint your own fall masterpiece. Check out Painting with a Twist for seasonal classes featuring pumpkins, ghosts, glow-in-the-dark paintings, and welcome signs. Play indoors. Farragut Golf & Games offers mini-golf, arcade games and a snack bar. A perfect spot for a rainy fall afternoon.
Get outside. The BlueCross Healthy Place at Town Hall is a welcoming, multi-generational play and recreation space with accessible playground equipment, fitness features and open space. Walk the wetlands. Mayor Bob Leonard Park features a paved, lighted wetlands trail with an observation deck. The ADA-accessible loop is about 0.9 mile, making it an easy way to enjoy some fresh fall air.
